Policy Changes – Effective April 1, 2013

March 10, 2013
Written by: Talia

Starting next month, we are introducing a number of changes to How Payment Works at Buddings, and we know that you might have some questions. The new policies are all outlined in various sections throughout our website as well as summarized here:

1. Families are responsible for keeping their accounts active by making monthly payments by the 1st of the month.

Choose hours between 3 and 40 and book them as you need them, or hold your spot while you think about it. As long as you’ve made a payment on the month by the 1st, your account is active and ready for action.

2. New $60 “Hold My Spot” option allows you to maintain an active account without using hours – due on the 1st of the month.

Going away for a month or more but don’t want your account to lapse? Hold your spot for $60/month and keep all your options open.

3. Families who make their payments by the 24th of the previous month qualify for the Early Purchase Bonus.

This is in the form of a 3-hour bonus for 10- and 24-hour packages, and free snacks for a 40-hour package.

4. Set it and forget it, with the 6 Month Membership

Sign up for automatic billing for a minimum monthly purchase and receive great benefits like hour by hour purchase, automatic Early Purchase Bonus, and reduced rates.

5. FREE Roll-over when 4 or more hours are left at the end of the month, as long as the account is active.

~ If you have 3 or fewer hours at the end of the month, please try to book them as they will not be rolled.

~ If your payment for either hours or holding your spot has not been received, your remaining hours are forfeited.

6. Accounts for which there has been no activity for 2 consecutive months will be deactivated.

7. A Reactivation Fee of at least $275 will be applied for reopening accounts that have been deactivated. This includes 3 hours for the first month.

We have updated our website and Parent Handbook to reflect these changes. They come into effect on Apr. 1, 2013. An updated Consent to Policies form is due on Apr. 1, 2013.
