Planting with Jack and the Beanstalk!
Spring is here!
We have made it through the long, cold winter! We’re beginning to see more sunshine… and maybe more rain, but that’s okay! Springtime means the weather is getting warmer and plants are starting to revive!
In this season of Big Kids Club we will be digging into the topic of planting! With the help of our friend Jack, who is a professional at growing beanstalks, we will explore what plants need to grow grow grow!
Jack will guide us through plant ‘haves’, ‘wants’, and ‘gives’.
We will learn all about photosynthesis, to learning the parts of a plant, and will even explore through a garden walk through Queen Elizabeth Park!
Next, we will dig right into what plants need to survive and grow, then Jack will help us grow some plants of our own! From greenhouses, to nature mosaics… our busy hands will be full of projects for this spring.
