What a whirlwind it’s been!

I have been planning a quick post and “thank you” after our Open House on Oct. 22, and now over a week has passed without getting it done!

We’ve been tidying and organizing, cleaning and clearing, getting all the furniture off the floors for the waxing, and then getting it all back out now that it’s done. It can feel circular…

But the Open House was a fun time! We had a few families come in and take the tour, lots of fun with the new toys, and even a reporter and camera man from the CBC who profiled us that night! You can find the story on their website, starring our own darling Hunter – lying about his age!

We loved getting to meet some of the families who’ll be stopping in once we get the last round of permits and licenses organized. There sure are a lot of them! But we’re so close: only 2 left!

It looks like we might be up and running for Nov. 7. It’s not official yet though, so don’t spread it around, but we’ll have more certainty after our meeting with Vancouver Coastal Health on Wednesday. I’ll keep you posted.
