On Wednesday April 30th, Buddings teachers Jen, Jayme and Denet took 11 excited kids on a fieldtrip to Charleson Park in False Creek. It was a beautiful sunny day for a walk and the kids all had a great time!

Here is the story of our wonderful day as told by one of our preschoolers Zak:
“We went on a walk to Charleson Park. We went over a bridge that went over traffic to the park. There was a forest and then we came around the corner and saw the ocean, a pond, and a hill full of flowers. We ate snack on the hill and drank some water. We picked flowers and started playing games. We played “What time is it Mr. Chicken” and “Freeze Tag”. Then we saw turtles in the pond! Emma napped under her hat and then all the kids napped under their hats in the grass. Jayme took a picture. We played for a little bit longer and then it was time to go back to Buddings…….. It was so much fun! ”
The teachers at Buddings are busy planning more fieldtrips so that we can get outside to enjoy the sights, smells, sounds, and adventures of summer! Stay tuned to the calendar and the News page for more updates on what’s coming up in the following weeks!
