Cinco de Mayo

On Monday we celebrated Mexico’s 5 de Mayo holiday. This is celebrated in the United States and in Mexico , primarily in the state of Puebla where the holiday is called “El Dia de la Batalla de Puebla (English: The Day of the Battle of Puebla). At Buddings we celebrated it in so many fun ways! First we made some colorful Mexican decorations before starting our party. Everyone helped by coloring a part of the chain and then we pasted everyone’s together to form a super big chain full of different colors.
After that, we made tacos by using ingredients everyone loves like cheese, re fried beans and some tomato salsa. Yummy! But, what is a party without music? Mariachi and Mexican music was played all day long and we even had a limbo line as part of the party. Everyone was making their own really cool moves. What a fiesta we had!
