Saturday-care Presents: Halloween 2015
It was a fist-pumping, arm-waving blast of a good time at our Haunted Halloween Daycare Party on Saturday, and we’re sending our spooky thanks to the little monsters, creatures, and families who came in out of the rain!
We met almost all the characters from Frozen, a circus family, and a small group of thoughtful, committed Green Peace activists – out to change the world – with their adorable little whale!
Our Saturday-care teachers Lara and Judy were amazing, hosting the party, helping the kids, and taking tonnes of photos! If you sat in our haunted photobooth, get ready! The pictures will be emailed to you this week!
The costumed guest of honour was the mysterious wacky waving arm inflatable flailing tube man, who kept turning up just after Judy had left the room!
There were snacks and treats, tricks, and crafts, and the best part was hanging out with some of the families who have been bringing their kids! It’s not everyday we get to colour pumpkin pictures with parents, or meet up with the moms and dads!

The Party was also a chance for the teacher to showcase their Big Kids Club projects! Sarah’s Build Buildings class has been exploring the ever-evolving World of the Three Pigs (and you can find her latest post on the blog!), and Denet and the Nature Club kids have been exploring what it means to fall for Fall! They both had beautiful displays set up. And of course, the worlds were properly prepared for the party! 🙂
